Mo and I bought "Created in darkness by troubled Americans " a short story collection culled from the pages of McSweeny's. Last Exit To Brooklyn By Hubert Selby Jr which was the basis for requiem for a dream and White Teeth by Zadie Smith which I've heard good things about.
